Integrated Door / Area Separation Doors

Area Separation Doors are commonly used in schools, hospitals and commercial buildings

Our Area Separation Door systems makes it easier to meet regulatory requirements while creating safe, attractive, usable indoor spaces that keep their good looks longer. According to the Dorothy Mae Ordinance No. 158,963 of the Los Angeles Fire Dept:

” 5. All required stairshaft, cut-off and area separation doors shall be equipped with approved self-closing devices and electrically operated hold-open devices designed to release the door by the activation of smoke detectors.”

Our concealed hinges, pocketed closers, flush panics or push pad hardware, allow our Area Separation Doors to create attractive, substantial doors that blend into the background when they’re not in use. The factory finish allows the doors to blend in with the architects color scheme.

The elimination of floor hardware, coordinators, vertical rods, hinge butts, astragals, etc. provides fire protection and safety without destroying the architectural design.
